NJSHAD Publications Introduction

Publications are designed to provide the most frequently requested data or information. They typically contain detailed analyses of numerical data along with supporting contextual data. Publications also contain summaries and specific graphical data charts.

The NJSHAD website provides access to New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (NJDHSS) publications via an Index of NJDHSS divisions, programs, offices, and commissions which have publications.

The NJSHAD website does not directly contain nor store any NJDHSS publications. This section of the NJSHAD website simply provides an interface to access various online New Jersey health publications. Because publications reside on different websites and servers, you will leave the NJSHAD website after selecting a link. To get back to this site, simply use your browser's back button. You may also "right-click" on the link and choose to open it in a new window or tab.

Online publications are often stored in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. To view them you must have a PDF viewer which is available free from Adobe. Click here to learn more about Adobe Acrobat or to download the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat viewer from the Adobe Web site.
